2024 Global Run

Welcome to the 11th annual Global Run! Join us on Saturday, October 19th by donating your weekend run to help send more smart, ambitious girls to high school in Kenya in 2025.

You can run your pledged miles any time, wherever you are, during the weekend of October 19-20th. Run solo or with friends!

WHY ARE WE RUNNING?
The more miles we run and dollars we pledge as a global collective, the more girls we can send to school next year. Our goal is to send 13 more girls to school in January 2025.

A four-year high school full-board scholarship costs $2,000. These fees are prohibitively expensive for families in Maasai communities of Laikipia, Kenya. Which is where Amazing Maasai Girls Project comes in. Each girl we can keep in school is one more who will avoid childhood marriage and can pursue her dreams of a career and independence.

SWAG!
Registrations with donations of $50 or more will receive an Amazing Maasai Girls Project sports towel. TOP fundraisers will also be awarded with beautiful Kenya-made gifts.

PLEDGE YOUR MILES
As part of signing up, you'll be invited to pledge a number of miles you'd like to walk or run for the Global Run. On the weekend itself, you'll have the chance to add your miles to the group total. We're aiming for 500 collective miles in solidarity for and support of girls' education!

ABOUT US
The Amazing Maasai Girls Project is a mission to give Maasai girls a running start in life. We provide education and running opportunities to young women from Maasai communities. Because when girls thrive, they can change their worlds.

Since 2012, we have sent 175 girls to school in Laikipia, Kenya, with 65 girls currently enrolled. Learn more at amazinggirls.org
