Join us and hundreds of other brave souls across the state for the COOLEST thing you'll do all year. Whether you jump, run, or tiptoe in you'll be helping us build a bigger, better and COOLER community for 21,000+ Special Olympics athletes.
The Details
Grab some friends and support Special Olympics Tennessee athletes at the Johnson City Polar Plunge on Sunday, February 7, at The Wellness Center! Take the plunge individually or as a team and help make a difference with a minimum of $100 in donations ($50 for students). Each participant receives an official Plunge medal and plenty of bragging rights!
Check-in starts at 2 PM, and Plunging starts at 3 PM. Costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers and best costumes. Community members are also welcome to donate or volunteer.

Too Chicken to Plunge?
Want to support Special Olympics Tennessee athletes but really, REALLY don’t want to plunge into the frigid water? It’s your lucky day!
Register online as a “Too Chicken” plunger and you can still raise money, earn incentives, and be part of the fun! And on event day you can even dip your toes in the pool to show your support!
“Chickens” are a great addition to every Plunge Team and are great at giving moral support, cheering from the comfort of the sidelines, taking team photos, and helping your team celebrate success.
Fundraising levels are the same as traditional plungers.
