Welcome to Mighty Mavericks Page!

Our family is thrilled (and a little nervous!) to be participating in Cal's Angels' 'Just Shave It' event, and we're inviting you to join our 'Mighty Maverick' team! My husband, Ryan, will be bravely shaving his head in solidarity with children battling cancer, and in loving honor of our son, Maverick. Who rang the bell in November 2024.

Childhood cancer is a devastating reality, and we've seen firsthand the challenges families face. Maverick's journey has inspired us to do more, to raise awareness, and to contribute to the incredible work Cal's Angels does in supporting these brave children and their families.

Ryan's decision to shave his head is a powerful symbol of our commitment to this cause. It represents shedding not only hair, but also shedding the feeling of helplessness that comes with watching a child fight such a difficult battle. We want to show Maverick, and all children facing cancer, that they are not alone.

We're building the 'Mighty Maverick' team to rally support and raise crucial funds for Cal's Angels. Every dollar raised will go directly towards providing resources, support, and hope to children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
