"I have no idea how to fundraise." It's EASY! Here are some ideas to reach your goal.
PERSONALIZE IT: Tell people why participating is important to you. Avoid general statements like 'It's a good cause.' AVOLky.org for info. Always include your fundraising page link.
DONATE TO YOURSELF: Then challenge friends to match it.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Create messages & posts. Include your fundraising page link.
AT WORK: Donation jar or snacks, asking folks to donate.
AT HOME: Yard sale, change jar, lemonade stand, or cook dinner and ask guests to donate.
PRIZES: You could win prizes!

Everyone that raises $200+ is invited to the VIP Brunch on the 9th floor of On the Row, overlooking downtown with complementary brunch favorites and mimosas.
Raise $10+ on your fundraising page, get the Walk 2026 t-shirt!
The top fundraising team wins a group experience, TBA! The team captain will stand on stage at the walk to be recognized.
The top individual fundraiser will stand on stage at the walk as well as take home a fantastic prize pack!
The top 10 fundraisers win a swag bag!

HOW LONG IS THE WALK?
Approximately 3/4 of a mile and it contains little-to-no incline.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A TEAM CAPTAIN?
Becoming a Team Captain is as easy as registering a team! Get friends to register under your team name. Name your team anything! Some even pick a fun team-theme (but not required). Set your team's fundraising goal and encourage your team along the way to reach it! Be competitive. There is a prize for the top team!
WHO CAN ATTEND AIDS WALK?
Everyone.
WHAT IF I DON'T REACH MY FUNDRAISING GOAL?
No problem. While we hope everyone gives it their best effort to raise these vital, life-saving funds, we want you there no matter what.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Well behaved dogs are welcome! Please be prepared to clean up after them as needed and keep your fur-babies on a leash.
