Who We Are

The Long Island Bike Challenge (LIBC) is comprised of a dedicated group of committed cyclists willing to endure both physical and psychological challenges of training for and completing a bike ride across Long Island, as well as securing donations from their individual supporters.

Additionally, the LIBC combines support from dedicated volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. All are essential to the LIBC goal and model: to attain maximum fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift. Our hope and aspiration this year is to provide Northwell Health System physicians and researchers with the necessary resources to discover prevention, treatment, and cures for cancer.

The LIBC is delighted to announce a record gift of $65,000 donated to The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research the research arm of the Northwell Health System. The monies raised will go towards advanced research/treatment to battle adult and pediatric cancers! Since 2021 the LIBC has raised and donated $400,000.
