Join us and beat the heat this summer at our Midnight Run 5K for Special Olympics. This event is presented by the Ellis County Sheriff's Office, a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas, and features a fast course through the streets of Hays. Your participation will help raise money for Special Olympics Kansas and finishers in the 5K Run/Walk will receive a custom finishers medal! All proceeds go towards programming for Special Olympics Kansas.
Event Details
The Hays Midnight Run 5K will begin at the Hays Recreation Commission and follow the paved trail toward Hays Medical Center. Participants will travel approximately 1.5 miles before reaching the turnaround point near Hays Medical Center. Runners and walkers will then return along the same route to the Hays Recreation Commission, completing the full 3-mile (5K) course.
