Support Education. Be a Lifesaver. Answer the Call

Welcome to the First Responders Children's Foundation Miles for Education Challenge! #CrushMilesforEducation

Approximately 225 First Responders are killed in the line of duty each year, leaving behind an average 3-5 children and family members in the wake of their sacrifice. For over 20 years, First Responders Children's Foundation has been there for those families in times of tragic circumstance and financial hardship. Through the Miles For Education Challenge, we can provide hope for the future of those children through the gift of Educational Scholarships.

Organized by FRCF staff member Joe Veale, who will complete an Ironman 70.3 in honor of the FRCF Scholarship Fund, from now until June 12th, join #TeamFRCF in walking, running, swimming, or biking at least 70.3 miles to fund Educational Scholarships for the children first responders injured or fallen in the line of duty.

Joining the challenge is simple: 1) Create a page and set a goal 2) Invite friends and family to pledge and donate to your page. 3) Update as you #CrushMilesforEducation! 100% of All Proceeds directly benefit The First Responders Children's Foundation Scholarship Program.

For over 20 years, First Responders Children’s Foundation (EIN 05-0536854) has proudly supported the children and families of First Responders injured or killed in the line of duty, providing hope for the future through earned Educational Scholarships.

Each academic scholarship provides a maximum award of $6,250, per academic calendar year, and may be renewed for up to 4 years. $25,000 secures the opportunity for a deserving future scholar to receive 4 years of continuous educational scholarship to an accredited university or vocational trade school.

Please, help us nurture the education of the children first responders as we honor the sacrifices of the fallen and give back to a community that answers the call when we need it most.
