Ten years ago, something remarkable happened.

More than 500 of Matt’s friends came together for an evening filled with laughter, friendship, and love — a simple gathering that became something so much more. That night was about standing beside Matt and his family as they faced his pancreatic cancer journey, reminding them they were not alone.

Now, on March 14, 2026, we come together once again.

This time, it’s a ten-year reunion — a night to reconnect, to remember, and to honor Matt’s life and the impact he continues to have on all of us. While the years have passed, the spirit of that first gathering remains the same: friends around a table, stories being shared, and a community united by love.

In Matt’s memory, this evening will also support Project Purple, helping raise funds for pancreatic cancer research, awareness, and early detection. Just as we were once lifted up by the generosity of others, we hope to pay it forward — offering financial assistance to families currently walking this difficult road and supporting the search for a cure.

When someone you love passes, you fear their presence may fade. But when you gather with the people who knew them best — swapping stories, sharing laughs, remembering moments — it feels as though they are still right there with you.

For our family, this reunion is a true privilege. Every memory shared, every story told, keeps Matt’s legacy alive and reminds us how deeply he touched so many lives.

It is our hope that one day we will live in a world without pancreatic cancer.
