Mission Trip - Dominican Republic 2026

WHO: 46 people from Northgate Church in Pittsburgh, PA

WHAT: Through medical and dental outreach, construction projects, Vacation Bible School partnerships, food distribution, and prayer walks, we’ll share the love of Christ in both word and deed. Each team member will engage in ministry that fits their unique gifts, supported by daily worship and devotionals that keep our hearts centered on God. We will be supporting long-term local workers, pastors, and ministry leaders already making a difference. We are not going to “fix” anything. We are going to listen, learn, serve, and be part of something bigger than ourselves.

WHERE: The Dominican Republic. Our home base will be in the town of Hato Mayor, but we will be serving in remote villages in the sugar can fields.

WHEN: Feb 14-21, 2026

WHY: We believe that love is most powerful when it’s lived out. This trip is an opportunity to serve people in a different part of the world out of humility, respect, and a desire to share life and faith across cultures. We are confident that this trip will stretch our faith and give us a deeper understanding of what God is doing in the world. We believe this experience will not only help others, it will change us too.

HOW: We hope that you will partner with us through prayer and financial investment. The trip costs each team member $1590. You can access those pages on the "leader board below." 46 participants x $1590 = $73,140. But as you can see we set our goal at $140,000. This is to finance the cost of our construction projects and meet local needs as they arise. All money raised will be invested into the ministry in the DR.
