Every year, birders choose a day between September 15 and October 15 to spend up to 24 hours identifying as many species as they can. Participants can go solo, form a team, or join one, and then invite others to sponsor their bird count.

Bird-A-Thon Merchandise
Each year, our Bird-A-Thon Committee selects a different bird species to serve as the event mascot. This year's mascot is the Western Tanager. We have beautiful Western Tanager artwork by Anna Pedersen of Salty Earth Studios featured on Bird-A-Thon merchandise you can purchase to show your support.
Delivery takes 1-2 weeks. Proceeds above base cost go to support Point Blue.
