Special Olympics is the only global sports movement led by people with intellectual disabilities. Every day around the world, our athletes show the world that sport is a force for justice for people of all abilities. We demand dignity. We reject low expectations. We transform bias into belief. How To Register
Choose a Location
Find out why Kansas is freezin' for a reason! Register and choose your 5K locations across the state. During registration, you'll enter a fundraising goal and create a custom URL for your personal fundraising page. If you are already fundraising for the Polar Plunge, you can turn off this option.
Share Your Fundraising Page
You will be able to collect donations from friends, family, and supporters. Your goal is to share your page widely - post it on social media, download your page's QR code, and text or email it to your circle! Every dollar raised will go towards Special Olympics programming to support athletes by providing them a space to practice and compete, have healthier lifestyles, and a sense of belonging in their community.
Polar Plunge
If you are participating in the Polar Plunge as well, you can fundraise both the $100 minimum for the Polar Plunge and the minimum $35 for the Polar Strut 5K on that fundraising page. You must still register for the Polar Strut 5K on this page.
Please note that $35 is required to participate in the Polar Strut 5K. All proceeds help support programming for Special Olympics Kansas athletes.
