27th Annual Ben Myers Ridge-a-Thon
Exhausting ourselves for charity
$7,856Raised of $50,000
27 years of exhausting ourselves for charity at Taos Ski Valley
Each year Ridge-A-Thon participants and donors help encourage donations for the Emergency Medicines Fund at Taos Community Foundation, which provides grants in the area of health and basic needs in Taos and western Colfax Counties.
Ridge-A-Thon is a breath-taking snow sports event at Taos Ski Valley. In 2023 for the 27th annual event, participants will lap the hike-to terrain over two days, February 24th and 25th (Extreme Ridge Challenger), or they can also take just a single hike (Ridge Raiser) during that time.
To increase the sense of community around the event this year we are encouraging participants to keep their fundraising page and social media profiles updated with images and videos of their preparation for and completion of their challenge. This helps everyone connect with their friends, donors, and other Ridge-A-Thon participants.
Last year's event raised a record-breaking $52,000 that supported access to basic healthcare needs for local residents and an innovative palliative care program for community residents living in rural areas, dramatically improving quality of life for both the patients and their caregivers.
