Carters Chromies

We are excited for the 2026 Buddy Walk and this year we will dedicate Carters Chromies walk to our Uncle Troy or “Funkle” as Carter called him. He isn’t here with us physically this year but we will hold him in our hearts forever. This will be our 8th year walking and supporting your favorite homie with an extra chromie Carter Jay. Carter is a light in our hearts and brightens everyone’s lives he meets.

This event means so much to us because we believe in creating a more inclusive community for individuals with Down syndrome. As a team, we are coming together to celebrate, support, and advocate for our loved ones and the entire Down syndrome community.

The Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network (RGDSN) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with Down syndrome and their families through advocacy, education, and support. They work tirelessly to foster awareness, ensure inclusion, and promote independence.
