We are a DFW-based nonprofit dedicated to building resilient, thriving communities through environmental education, ecological restoration, and civic engagement. We blend modern science with Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) to create programs that empower youth, uplift Indigenous wisdom, and strengthen local ecosystems.
Our Programming Includes:
Hands-on ecology, leadership, and civic engagement for local youth, who will learn to restore ecosystems, develop problem-solving skills, and participate in community leadership opportunities.
Connecting local growers, food partners, and community hubs to strengthen neighborhood access to nutritious food and essential supplies.
Urban restoration projects including native planting, pollinator gardens, and public green spaces. Enhances biodiversity, environmental education, and community pride.
Connecting communities to traditional land stewardship, local heritage, and biocultural knowledge. Building awareness and practical skills for sustainable use of resources.
Workshops, tool libraries, and practical skill-building to reduce waste, promote self-sufficiency and civic empowerment, and strengthen social connections.
