Our Mission
Launched in May 2021, PGA REACH WNY introduced a unique initiative aimed at raising both awareness and funds to support our mission of creating a positive impact across Western New York—all while fostering a sense of fun and community.
Over the past four years, this effort has successfully raised more than $50,000, thanks to the incredible support of our participants and sponsors.
Introducing the PGA REACH WNY Run/Walk Event—an engaging experience that embodies the Foundation’s core pillars: supporting Military Veterans, empowering Youth, and promoting Diversity.

In 2022, Praxis Financial Group—founded by Robert (Bob) Powalski, CFP®, and Greg Ahrens, CFP®, ChFC®, CExP™—joined the PGA REACH WNY Run/Walk Fundraiser as the Title Sponsor, bringing renewed energy, enthusiasm, and significant financial support to the event.
Bob, who participated in the inaugural Run/Walk in 2021, was so inspired by the experience that he sought a deeper, more formal role in supporting the cause.
Now, five years later, Bob and Greg return again as the 2025 Title Sponsor, continuing their strong commitment to the success and growth of this highly anticipated fundraiser.
