Our Mission
RUN, WALK, AND BIKE 565 MILES FOR VETERANS THIS SEPTEMBER!
Join us from Sep. 3 through Oct. 3, 2025, for GallantFew’s Run Ranger Run. RRR is GallantFew’s fall Veteran fitness, awareness, and fundraising event created to honor and continue the mission of US Army Ranger Veteran Corporal Cory Smith. In 2012 Cory ran, walked, and biked 565 miles from Fort Moore, Ga., to his home in Indianapolis, Indiana. Cory’s objective was to educate the public on the difficult journey a soldier has to reintegrate back into civilian life. RRR continues the mission.
Your Miles Will Change Lives
Run Ranger Run is designed to raise awareness and funds for Ranger and Veterans seeking connection, counseling, and coaching with GallantFew. Since 2010, GallantFew has provided more than 6,000 Veterans the assistance they need to successfully transition from the military and reintegration into a civilian life full of hope and purpose.
Individuals and teams participate in RRR to tackle US Army Ranger Veteran Cory Smith’s 565-mile journey by running, walking, and biking from Sep. 3 through Oct. 3.
Participants register and track their progress online, so teammates do not all have to be in the same area. Participants can remember a fallen, wounded, or active military member by naming their team in honor of that person.
GallantFew is a Candid Platinum-rated charity.
ABOUT RUN RANGER RUN
RANGER CORY SMITH'S STORY
In 2012, shortly after returning from his second deployment, U.S. Army Ranger Cory Smith took off on a 565-mile run from Fort Moore, Ga., to his hometown of Indianapolis. The goal of his 28-day journey was to bring awareness to the challenges many soldiers face when they return from service.
GallantFew was with Cory from the beginning and continues his legacy of service with Run Ranger Run. Funds raised during Run Ranger Run supports Ranger and Veteran connection, coaching, and counseling programs as well as the Ranger Outreach Center in Columbus, GA.
