Sip and Shop Details
We are so excited to partner and run a Sip and Shop fundraiser for our athletes in Southeast Kansas while showcasing local boutiques and shops. This event will take place in the Bicknell Family Center for Arts in Pittsburg, KS from 6-8pm on November 21, 2024. There will be local boutiques to shop at, snacks and beverages available, and an exclusive fashion show including our athletes. A limited number of tickets are available for this event, the first 20 tickets purchased will receive a free gift bag.
Our Mission
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
