Strong Like Lisa Foundation

Our Mission

The Strong Like Lisa Foundation has raised over $250,000 to support sarcoma patients diagnosed at the University of Kansas Cancer Center. Each sarcoma patient diagnosed at the University of Kansas Cancer Center receives a "Stronger than Cancer" bag from the Strong Like Lisa Foundation. Through financial assistance and "Stronger than Cancer" care bags, we provide hope, strength, and community—because no one fights alone.

5th Annual Strong Like Lisa - Steps to Cure Sarcoma

Please join us for our 5th annual Race to Cure Sarcoma on October 24, 2026. Registration will open up in July 2026! This community event will feature a 5 K run/walk, a 1-mile kids' race, a 1-mile walk, awards, a DJ, Chris Cakes' pancake breakfast, adult & kids' beverages, and a raffle. We are so excited for this year's event!
