Supporting Sacred Work is a community fundraiser in honor of Lily House caregivers. Our caregivers are central to our mission to reclaim death as a sacred human experience with less fear and more love—because the work of dying belongs to all of us.
Compassionate end-of-life care is the heart of our work at the Lily House—and we provide this care at no cost to those in need. To date, we have cared for 50% of our residents at no cost—because we believe everyone deserves to die with dignity, surrounded by love, regardless of access to financial resources.

Since opening in October 2023, Lily House caregivers have provided unconditional love and compassionate end-of-life care for over 50 extraordinary individuals. Caregiving is more than a job: it is a calling led by the heart.
This sacred work of guiding and companioning our residents during their end of life journey requires presence, mindfulness, patience, tenderness, and skill. Lily House caregivers embody these qualities, ensuring that every resident feels welcomed, safe, and loved—and is cared for with kindness through their final breath.
No one at the Lily House dies without a hand to hold.

We are committed to raising $150,000 in honor of the sacred work of our staff care providers and community volunteers, who are integral to providing care and companionship for our residents.
Our goal is to raise these funds by April 29. You can help us meet this goal by making a donation and inviting your friends and family to do so as well.
Our work is made possible by the radical generosity of our community. Together, we are creating a cultural transformation that reclaims death as a community experience that belongs to all of us.

There will be music, hors d'oeuvres, and a ceremony honoring our caregivers. Featuring musical guest Suede!
