Reaching out to you, as I do around this time every year, seeking your support!

Once again, I am swimming in memory of my mom, Joan. I love this event for all of the same reasons that made it her favorite - the perfect blend of activity, community, and generosity!  Swimming the event well into her 80s, Joan recruited countless participants, and started the satellite pond swim in Wellfleet.  Within minutes of first meeting you, she’d have asked if you swim - and whether you said yes or no, she’d have you thinking about joining this event. Her passion for this event and it's beneficiaries has truly had a profound ripple effect.

For a second year, I am co-captaining the amazing Lily House Team! We join together to bring awareness to the mission of the Lily House, a community hospice home for those seeking comprehensive and compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to residents.  Last year, Team Lily House was proudly the top fundraising team, raising over $104,000 (an event record).  Thanks to many of you, as an individual swimmer, I was 4th overall, event-wide, in fundraising.

Year after year, I have asked you to join the event with a contribution, helping to sustain our many health and arts organizations.  I thank you in advance for your continued support.
