Team Operation Turf are ready!

Instead of surfing, we are turfing! Some of us are taking on the Tri Tip Challenge which is hiking as many as 3 peaks in San Luis Obispo (and walking to each one) for a total of roughly 17 miles and a total elevation of about 4200 feet! Whether you want to push yourself to do something outside of our comfort zone or just want to walk your dog till they're ready to go home, whatever feels right to you is OK!

WHY DO THIS YOU ASK?!! Simply because Operation Surf’s mission is important and we are proud to help them make a difference in the lives of injured military and veterans, one wave at a time. Please support our team by giving to our page. Every dollar counts! The life-changing programs of Operation Surf are made possible by 'any size' contributions from people like you!

Your support will provide:

  • $25 provides a 'wave' of peer-to-peer support through Operation Surf's online peer-to-peer platform called The Canteen.

  • $50 provides health-conscious meals for a day for one veteran.

  • $100 provides a day of world-class surfing instruction for one veteran.

  • $250 equips a veteran with a wetsuit to keep them warm and comfortable.

Operation Surf programs are at no cost to the veterans they serve, and they are invited to continue their journey long after the program is complete through various opportunities. It costs an average of $5,000 to put a veteran through an Operation Surf program and provide ongoing care.

Our team goal is to raise $8000+. We need your help - and every $1 gets us closer!!!

Changing Lives, One Wave at a Time

Operation Surf’s curriculum-based programs aim to inspire injured military and veterans to seek wellness in all aspects of their lives while providing the necessary resources, tools, and support to continue this mindset indefinitely.

Reaching our overall goal of $100K allows us to operate four programs in 2021, changing the lives of 32 new participants and continuing to serve 16 past participants as veteran support.
