Friends and Family, I would love for you to join my team and get reading with me this summer!

My goal is to raise $500 - feel free to fundraise or just donate to benefit the awesome work CFL does in the #Fight4Literacy - but also just to encourage people in my circle (young and old) to get reading! To spice things up a little bit, for anyone that pledges $10+ per book (hoping for 5-8) OR donates $50 or more, you can pick one of the books I read this summer*. 🙃📚🧐

Part of the work we do at CFL is supporting organizations that provide summer intervention for young readers as a way to help them avoid the "summer-slide" (students often lose 2 months of reading skills over the summer!). My hope is that this campaign raises awareness about that tragic fact and encourages everyone to pick up a book as a stand against it!
