Our Mission

We're excited to share a fun day of birding on April 13 while raising some money for Houston Audubon. Its role in conserving habitats such as High Island, Bolivar and ELM makes a difference as a critical stopover for migratory birds breeding throughout the continent, as well as building the Houston area birding community through education and outreach. We identified 133 different bird species in our 24 hour period! This involved birding from sunrise to sunset the first day and then from sunrise to our cutoff time of 8:30 am the next day. We had so much fun and covered many habitats and miles along the Texas Coast! Thanks for your support! It’s much appreciated! Kristie
