We are excited to join the 28x28 Mobility Challenge in support of So Every BODY Can Move, a landmark state-by-state policy and advocacy initiative creating equitable access to prosthetic and orthotic care for physical activity, currently deemed “not medically necessary” and not covered by insurance. In Colorado we successfully passed this law last year and it will go into effect in January of 2025! Not only are we working on the implementation phase, but also working to expand this coverage to Colorado Medicaid. We are supporting other states to help us have 28 states passed by 2028, when we can ultimately have enough momentum for federal legislation!
