Lulu's Crew Rides Again!
Lulu's Crew is raising scientific funding to cure STXBP1 encephalopathy, a rare genetic disorder that effects Lucy Prosser and 1,000 children worldwide. For the last 6 years, we've raised more than $800K and funded 12 scientific grants across the globe increasing the scientific footprint of the disorder. 2025 brings an exciting time of clinical trials, the money raised this year will go to a scientific lab that is working on a "functional rescue" assay where, with any new therapy, we could confirm that restoring STXBP1 protein also restores its primary function. This is important data required by the FDA in order to test a novel therapeutic. Let's go get that cure!
