Our Mission
Migration is a human right; it's also a beautiful and basic function exercised by humans, birds, and all parts of the natural world. We're so excited to celebrate migration as part of this event!
Our asylum network supports individuals and families in Western MA as they navigate asylum cases. We believe that everyone deserves a welcoming place to land, support, safety, and well-being as they work to exercise their international human right to asylum.
We would love your support as either a flat donation, or a pledge for one of our team members. (And if you're excited to support asylum in our area, why not check out our volunteer signup? We'd love to have you!)
Many of our team members have no birding experience, but we're ready to learn and to grow our welcoming community together with you all!

I had a great time with this event and I'm so glad to have participated! Got some good studying done outside, and some nice time with friends wildly speculating about which birds were which. Thank you everyone for your support!

I'm terrible at identifying birds, but definitely saw some egrets and cormorants out kayaking, and at least one cardinal and one oriole on a bike ride!

Elliot and Day, hangin' out in a graveyard watching some birds! We saw a robin, some swallows, and what Day thinks is a chicadee (and I believe her, having no information to suggest otherwise). Also several bunnies and a skunk. A really sweet, peaceful afternoon.
