Aaron's Allies

Aaron was 3 years old when he started receiving services from The Summit Center. He grew up with Summit, and graduated this past June, 18 years later. As a child, Aaron was classified as nonverbal. He made tremendous progress over the years with his speech and communication skills, and his ability to follow directions and complete tasks. He has come a long way, and we will always appreciate the Summit staff. We thank every teacher, teacher aide, therapist and administrator. No matter who he dealt with, they were all so caring and supportive.

Aaron’s brother Alijah also received services from Summit, with early intervention and then preschool. Summit really helped give him a strong foundation. Those developmental years were crucial, and ultimately helped as he transitioned to kindergarten in our school district. Alijah graduated from one of the most rigorous high schools and is now a student at Villa Maria College.
