CanPKU+ Racers

Thank You for Supporting HCU Research!

We’re proud to announce that CanPKU+ has partnered with HCU Network America for the 7th Annual HCU Race for Research, a virtual event raising critical funds to advance research for Homocystinuria (HCU).

This year, CanPKU+ will collect Canadian dollar donations to support HCU-specific research, with all funds held by our organization and directed toward this shared goal. While we are a not-for-profit and not a registered charity (donations are not eligible for tax receipts), your contribution will directly fund meaningful research initiatives.

To ensure Canadian perspectives are included in these efforts, Melanie Colter, our HCU Representative on the CanPKU+ Board of Directors, will serve on the Global Scientific Advisory Board of HCU Network America. This Board is responsible for reviewing research proposals, making funding decisions, and shaping priorities for HCU research globally.

Together, we can amplify Canadian voices and accelerate progress for those living with HCU.

The team total is a total of all Racers donating in the Canadian bucket. Our individual totals will show as 0 as we can't participate in CAD currency on this site.
