WARNING - LONG READ - Final UPDATE for the 2025 Campaign

I don't know where to begin! I cannot thank you enough for your loving generosity and support for this year's Soles4Souls Race4EveryKid campaign! We had a tremendous response! 

I want to give a very special shoutout to our KDP team captain, Tiffany Roddy. It was Tiffany who introduced this beautiful cause to our KDP IT team last year.  She's worked at these events and has seen firsthand the impact it has on every single kid. She has an incredibly sweet soul and an even bigger heart.

 Donors, because of your kindness, we raised $4,272!!! That is enough to provide shoes for 213 deserving kids! THANK YOU!!!! 

Across our KDP IT team we raised $7,417 providing shoes for 371 kids!!

And in the nationwide movement, close to 20K kids in need will receive a new pair of shoes!! 

Because of your outpouring of support and encouragement, Bailey and I moved 488 miles! You guys absolutely smashed our fundraising goal, so he and I felt it was only appropriate that we match that with every single step and bike pedal along the way. More miles = more smiles 🙂🙂🙂

Thank you for coming along this journey with us. I hope you enjoyed all the updates and fun reels along the way. It was our way to ensure you joined us on every walk or ride, have some fun and celebrate our success together!

For those of you who came along this journey with Cooper and me last year, thank you for your support and encouragement after we lost Cooper.  I honestly didn't know if my heart was going to be in it this year. But after we adopted our super sweet angel, Bailey, it reminded me that this movement isn't about me or you. It's not a race for personal glory. It's about the kids!

Bailey was in a terrible situation where he needed hope, he needed encouragement and more importantly, he needed love. He needed someone to believe in him. And that's exactly what so many of these kids need. 

The new pair of shoes represents something more than just shoes. It represents hope and encouragement. It provides these kids with the confidence and support to continue chasing their dreams. And more importantly, just like Bailey, it shows they are loved. 

Every dollar you gave, every word of encouragement you shared represents everything this program is about. Take some time and celebrate the tremendous impact you made!

Finally, I want to give special thanks to my wife, Tracy❤️ People have asked how Super B and I were able to rack up so many miles. I say this half-jokingly but it's full of truth, I gave her a kiss on the cheek on April 1 and told her I'll see her on June 6. Bailey and I amped up our training walks in April in preparation for May. She sacrificed personal time with Bailey and me every single day and night including weekends throughout those two months.  If we were going to make our goal, we were going to have to invest in a lot of hours every day. And Tracy was more than happy to make that sacrifice because of her love for this campaign and for these kids. 

This is our final reel for the 2025 campaign! It's a long reel, so hang in there if you can! We included every single dedicated walk or ride as our way to say thank you!! BTW, hope you're a Katy Perry fan 🙂These kids are a firework!!! You just got to ignite the light and let it shine as the lyrics go. And you guys did just that!!! So,  put your buds in and crank it up! Come along one last time to wrap up our campaign and celebrate with your fellow donors!
