Team ZC4H2

On June 13, 2026, Team ZC4H2 will ride with purpose at the 13th Annual Million Dollar Bike Ride, hosted by the Penn Medicine's Orphan Disease Center. Every mile we pedal represents a child, a family, and a future that deserves answers.

We are riding to support the mission of the ZC4H2 Research Foundation and to bring awareness to ZC4H2 Associated Rare Disorders (ZARD), an ultra-rare genetic condition that affects movement, development, muscle tone, speech, and independence. Because ZARD is so rare, families often face long diagnostic journeys, limited treatment options, and an overwhelming lack of information. Yet behind every diagnosis is a child full of determination, personality, and possibility.

The ZC4H2 Research Foundation was created by families who refused to accept the unknown as the final answer. The Foundation works tirelessly to:

• Fund critical research that advances the understanding of ZARD

• Connect scientists, clinicians, and families around the world

• Support natural history studies and therapeutic development

• Build a community where no family feels alone

Our work is transforming uncertainty into progress and progress into hope.
