Meet Honored Child Seamus
Seamus is 11, and lives with his parents and two siblings. His sister Caitlin is 8, and a close friend of Honored Child Heaven. His little brother, Monty, is 2. Seamus says that Monty’s hugs and kisses are a sure way to cheer him up. If he was ever stranded on a desert island? He would take Monty.
Listening to Japanese dance music, drawing on his ipad, making Tik-toks and editing youtube videos are high on Seamus’ list of favorites. One day he hopes to be an anime voice actor, a famous youtuber or TikToker.
Seamus was diagnosed with Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma, a type of brain tumor, when he was one. His favorite Candlelighters activity is Family Camp, because “there are cool things there, cool cabins to hang out in, and they have good food.”

About Candlelighters
From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, Candlelighters provide programs that meet the needs of the whole family facing childhood cancer. Your support provides:
- $25: Fills the gas tank so families can get their child to the hospital for essential cancer treatment.
- $50: Fills a grocery bag of a family who may have had to leave a job to care for their child
- $100: Helps a family of four get essential food for several days or gas for several trips to the hospital for required treatments.
- $250: Fills the hospital pantry for one week, while families are in the hospital with their child who is receiving cancer treatment.
