About the Georgia Tech Chapter
The Georgia Tech Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2015 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. Offensive lineman Trey Klock was instrumental in forming the Georgia Tech Chapter after his family was impacted by two rare diseases. Trey realized the depth of the platform provided to college student-athletes and was inspired to help fight rare diseases. Georgia Tech held its inaugural Lift For Life in 2016.
