Welcome to our 2025 Toledo Buddy Walk fundraising page! We are participating to show our support for programs and services offered to individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan. From support to new parents, social groups for all individuals with DS, educational services, and more, DSAGT is making an impact on OUR community! Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to ensuring that every individual with Ds and every family will have the support they need!
Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome in our community.

Hello Buddy Walk Family!! We are so excited to have you join us on Sunday! Here’s some important info/items to bring if you want!
WEAR YOUR DO IT LIKE DAWSON T SHIRT!!
Owens Community College, 30335 Oregon Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551
We will be located outside of Founder's Hall in Parking Lot B. Please note, only parents who have a child with Down Syndrome will be permitted to park in the main tailgate lot, all other guests will need to park in the adjoining lot. There is a map of the event here . Due to the large number of teams, only one car per team will be allowed inside the Tailgate Lot this year, Parking is first come first serve and spots will not be reserved. Our parking attendants will be directing you on where to park this year.
Event Timeline:
10am: Teams may begin arriving to set-up tailgate locations
11am: On-site registration opens, pre-walk activities begin
1:00pm: Opening Ceremony Begins
1:15pm: Walk Begins
2:30pm: Raffle Basket winners are announced
3pm: Event Wraps Up
Items to consider bringing!
Strollers/Wagons (if you have littles)
camping chairs-something to sit on at our base tent!
Sunglasses and sunscreen (It’s going to be a warm one!)
Cash for Raffles
Drinks/Snacks if you’d like (we will have some at our home base tent)
Walking shoes
Owens is a tobacco free campus so no smoking or vaping permitted on any property. Dogs are also not permitted unless they’re service animals.
We are so excited to see all of you this weekend for our largest event EVER!!

Make sure to wear your buddy walk shirts from last year! We will have some limited sizes on hand if you didn’t get one last year!

I’m walking for Team ‘Do It For Dawson’ again this year. Dawson is a special lad, I fell in love with him instantly. How often are you surrounded by a large group of people who just want to love you? Come with us! In person or in spirit (donation). YOU can make a difference! 🩵
