At Yellow Brick Road Early Learning Center, we provide high-quality, full-time childcare for children from birth to age five. Our mission is to ensure that accessible, affordable, developmentally appropriate early education is available to every family — regardless of their ability to pay.
The first five years of life shape everything that follows. Families need dependable, nurturing care during this critical window — but access to high-quality infant and toddler care remains limited in our community.
Yellow Brick Road exists to ensure that every child, regardless of income, has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Through scholarships, classroom resources, and strengthened program capacity, we are working to meet the growing needs of local families while sustaining the high-quality instruction that defines YBR.
About Taster's Choice
Our Kentucky Derby-themed event has been around for 25 years and is the school’s largest annual fundraiser. It features delicious food and drinks from professional and amateur chefs, live and silent auctions, live music, hat and best-dressed competitions, and a viewing of the race.

At Yellow Brick Road, high-quality early education begins with exceptional educators. Our teachers are more than caregivers — they are mentors, nurturers, and steady presences in a child’s earliest years.
