Hi I'm Amber, I love all things fantasy like Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings and fairy tales. Oh, and I'm a 32 year old HER2+ breast cancer survivor.

Long story short: I was diagnosed March 22, 2024 right after ending my breastfeeding journey with my son. I took on this evil monster head on with an arsenal of chemo, HER2 targeting treatment, double masectomy with reconstruction and radiation along with the support of my amazing family and friends (my adventuring party if you will). I was declared cancer free September 20th after my pathology from the Masectomy came back clear. For the longer epic tale, check my Survivor Story

I learned just the other day that my type of cancer was deemed untreatable only 30 years ago. Now, there are targeting drugs to eradicate it thanks to research in the field.
