We're Taking to the Skies (again)!
CASA Project Worcester County and Legendary Legacies are teaming up with local legislators and community advocates for the second annual “The Sky’s the Limit”, a bold and thrilling campaign to support youth and families in Massachusetts. The group of 12 will take to the skies on Sunday, July 20 to demonstrate their passion for uplifting vulnerable populations in the communities we serve.
The Story Behind The Sky's the Limit
In a powerful show of commitment, Executive Directors Julie Bowditch (CASA Project Worcester County) and Ron Waddell (Legendary Legacies), alongside dedicated Senator Mike Moore and Senator Robyn Kennedy will take a literal leap of faith—skydiving from 14,000 feet—to raise awareness and funds for these two vital local nonprofits. This group will be joined by an additional eight community advocates whose passion for uplifting vulnerable youth knows no bounds.
What began as a bucket-list birthday celebration for a few local community advocates evolved into something even more wholesome and intentional. Together, the group decided to leverage the enterprise to raise vital funds and awareness for CASA Project Worcester County and Legendary Legacies. These nonprofits have intersections in supporting youth and families in the margins of society while providing advocacy, support, and resources. Both organizations focus on serving Worcester and Central MA and have benefited significantly from Senator Moore’s partnership.
