Wayfarers Paddle & Picnic
When: Saturday, July 18th, 10:00am to 12:00pm
Where: Wingra Boats
Cost: Free if you bring your own canoe/kayak/SUP. Rentals available from Madison Boats (pricing for the initial hour – single kayak: $16, tandem kayak: $22, canoe: $22, SUP: $16). See more info at madisonboats.com
Join the Wayfarers for a casual paddle and picnic outing at Lake Wingra in Madison! First-time or seasoned paddlers welcome. You can bring your own paddle craft, or rent from Madison Boats (day of or book ahead of time).
We will take a casual paddle around the lake (bring your binoculars if you want to paddle & bird!) and then hang out either at the Wingra Boats shelter or in the park afterwards. Bring your own picnic/snacks OR you can order a variety of food from the Madison Boats concession stand. The Wayfarers will provide a small selection of light snacks to share.
