Wayfarers Event: Bluff Creek Prairie Seed Collecting
Event Details
Bluff Creek State Natural Area is a large, quality mesic to wet prairie with lots of rare plants and a clear trout stream which is rare for southeast Wisconsin. We will wander through this great site along with knowledgeable volunteers and fill our bags with native plant seeds in the process. These seeds will help projects nearby to restore former ag fields. Be prepared for off trail hiking by wearing long pants and sturdy hiking boots.
There will be a 15 min walk to get in and out of the site
