West Des Moines Wrestling Club / Valley Wrestling (2025-26)

Valley High School and the West Des Moines Wrestling Club (WDMWC) are asking for support to purchase 3 new practice mats. Currently the practice mats at Valley High School are going into their 30th, 20th and 21st seasons of use.

The WDMWC is looking to fundraise $50,000.00 to purchase and supply the mats for the wrestling room at Valley High School.

The wrestling room at VHS hosts practices for the high school boys and girls teams as well as the WDMWC. Between these programs the mats are used 15 times per week during the season as well as multiple times during the off-season with workouts taking place year round.

New wrestling mats will provide the needed safety for all wrestlers in the room and help continue to keep our wrestlers clean and clear of skin funk. We are asking for personal and business sponsors to help us raise these funds. New wrestling mats take around 36 weeks from order to delivery, so this is an emergency fund raising event.
