On Father's Day of 2025 I was out for an evening training run with my mom when I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. As an 18-year old, Division I runner, I had previously believed that my age and wellness would protect me from major health challenges. However, I quickly learned that this condition did not discriminate. As I navigated a new normal, I had the privilege of being connected with WeRunWithYou and Kathy became a mentor for me throughout every step of my recovery.

I participated in the 8k at the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon as my "comeback race" and it was one of the most rewarding weekends of my life. I am so excited to be back this year running the half marathon with a group of like minded people who care so deeply about the same cause I do.
