We Are Skiing For CCL and Climate Action!
By day, we come from all walks of life. What brings us together is our shared commitment and support for the essential work the grassroots nonpartisan climate organization Citizens' Climate Lobby is doing.
Throughout the month of December we'll be putting our ski training to good use to raise money for climate action! Some of us are gearing up for big races like the American Birkebeiner, others are going to get out on the trails for fun. Overall, we're aiming to help support CCL's annual Year End Fundraiser campaign (Dec. 2 - 31) to help support our collective nonpartisan bridge-building climate advocacy, thanks for pledging to donate!

Happy new year team! Thank you for all of your incredible support as we round into another circle around the sun ☀️
I did 35 km this week since heading back to Duluth but given the frigid windy temps on Monday and Tuesday I didn’t go as long as I had hoped. As a result, I hope you’ll let me generously sub in my plans for this weekend ahead to do two final skis of 10 and 20 km and have it all count towards my year end goal of 150 km ahead of the Birkie!
CCL is just a couple thousand dollars away from reaching our overall goal and all of your support has made achieving our year end target of 1.25M possible! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do for this inspiring organization and here’s looking forward to working together for an empowered 2026 together! 🎉

After a warming trend that brought rain on Christmas, we got another snowfall to round out the year. The trees were beautiful with the way the snow was clinging to them today. Not too many oak leaves in the tracks.
