For young students in America, 3rd grade reading is a crucial mile marker. Students who are reading on grade level at that junction have an 89% chance of high school graduation and career success, regardless of household income level. Because literacy changes everything,

At an early age, reading became a huge confidence booster for me. This led to me being able to face, manage, and overcome challenges better. As an Impact Player, I want to help others find their inner confidence by utilizing the power of literacy so they too can bravely face and overcome many of life’s challenges to ultimately become better versions of themselves.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

100% of donations will be granted to Believe Memphis Academy to support their literacy programming with K-3 students. These funds will be used to provide high-quality foundational literacy instruction to students here in Memphis.

• $23 can provide high quality foundational literacy support for a student for a month.
• $115 can provide high quality foundational literacy support for a student for a semester.
• $230 can provide high quality foundational literacy support for a student for a year.

Believe Memphis Academy Charter School is a public, tuition-free college preparatory charter school that serves students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Our school was established in 2018 with a strong commitment to community building, teacher coaching, and supporting all community members. Our dedicated team strives to provide a high-quality education that prepares our students for all aspects of life.

After starting a partnership with ALL Memphis, we have observed significant improvements in the 23-24 school year based on end-of-year iReady scores. We would like to strengthen our partnership with ALL Memphis, which assists us in implementing foundational reading skills in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This funding will allow us to continue to have the tools and resources to continue providing high quality reading instruction to our students.
