WHY LITERACY?

For young students in America, 3rd grade reading is a crucial mile marker. Students who are reading on grade level at that junction have an 89% chance of high school graduation and career success, regardless of household income level. Because literacy changes everything,

As a dedicated student athlete, and the son of an educator, I have always known that reading is one of the most important skills you need to be successful. I want all kids to be confident readers and so I have decided to use my platform to impact literacy here in our community: generating funds for a local school serving students in the South Dallas area and inspiring those same students to be great readers.

We know every kid is capable. They simply need access and opportunity.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

100% of donations will be granted to Uplift Education to support literacy efforts at Uplift Pinnacle Preparatory. These funds will be used to provide books for students, creating joy and a culture of reading.

Every $10 provides a new book to an Uplift Pinnacle scholar!
