My Mission for CADASIL Research

The Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center hosts this event to raise money for research in rare diseases and I'm excited to participate.

I'm participating virtually in the Million Dollar Bike Ride as part of Team CADASIL.

My family is profoundly impacted by CADASIL, and I ride for us.

CADASIL is a rare genetic condition and right now, there’s no cure and no effective treatment. For those living with CADASIL and their families, every day is a battle — not just against the disease, but against the lack of awareness.

The Million Dollar Ride for CADASIL raises critical funds for research and shines a light on a community that needs support and understanding.

I’ll be biking the G2G trail from Kitchener to Goderich at the same time as the official ride.

If you’d like to help, pledges are welcome, but awareness is just as important.

Organizations participating in the 2026 Million Dollar Bike Ride will receive the funds raised by their team. Your donation plays a pivotal role, allowing organizations to not only support rare disease research, but make a direct impact on patients and families in their rare disease community. Thank you!

Million Dollar Bike Ride is coordinated by Penn Medicine's Orphan Disease Center.
