Support Leah for the 2025 Million Dollar Bike Ride

Hi everyone! ☀️

I will be completing a 32 mile bike ride with some friends as part of the Million Dollar Bike Ride event hosted by The Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center. The purpose of this ride is to raise money for research in rare diseases. Please consider using the link to donate and or share this post to get the word out!!

Our team is riding to directly support the Chelsea's Hope Lafora Children's Research Fund to fund research for children diagnosed with Lafora disease. Lafora Disease is a rare, progressive and terminal form of epilepsy that affects people of all genders and races. This disease starts in otherwise perfectly healthy children and teens, who go on to develop untreatable seizures, early onset dementia, and eventually pass away in their early 20's. There is currently no treatment, and no cure, but clinical trials are underway to give these families hope. The difference you can make is immeasurable -- your donation will help get more patients access to medicine in a clinical trial at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
