Meet Azeena
Meet Azeena, one of this year’s Ride for a Child Honored Children! Azeena is a six year old with lots of hobbies! She loves to dance, run, jumprope, rock climb, and just enjoys being active. Azeena also likes the colors pink and purple and is a fan of Hello Kitty. If she could only eat one food for the rest of her life, it would be cheese pizza.
Azeena is a big fan of the Jurassic Park series and likes to watch the movies. Right now, her favorite song would have to be “Big Guy” by Ice Spice, which is in the new SpongeBob movie! If she could take one thing with her to a deserted island, it would be her luggage!
Azeena was diagnosed with stage IV Hepatoblastoma, a kind of liver cancer. So far, she has loved going to all of Candlelighters’ Halloween activities like our Fall Harvest and pumpkin carving events!

About Candlelighters
From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, Candlelighters provide programs that meet the needs of the whole family facing childhood cancer. Your support provides:
$25: Fills the gas tank so families can get their child to the hospital for essential cancer treatment.
$50: Fills a grocery bag of a family who may have had to leave a job to care for their child
$100: Helps a family of four get essential food for several days or gas for several trips to the hospital for required treatments.
$250: Fills the hospital pantry for one week, while families are in the hospital with their child who is receiving cancer treatment.
