Meet Connor

Introducing Connor–one of this year’s Ride for a Child Honored Children! Connor is fifteen years old and has one older sister, Tess. Connor has lots of hobbies that include PC gaming, digital art, cooking, baking, playing piano, and going on walks!

Connor's favorite genre of music would have to be Alt-Rock, he likes to listen to anything in that genre. His favorite book at the moment is Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie, by Jordan Sonnenblick, because he likes the genre and can relate to the story. Connor is also a fan of Star Wars and likes legos. If Connor was stranded on a deserted island, the one thing he would bring would be his iPad.

Connor was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2022. So far, his favorite memory from Candlelighters has been going on boat rides on Lake Oswego at some of our events!

Another week in the books. Longest ride this week was the Springwater Corridor Trail from Tilikum Crossing Bridge to Boring, about 44 miles. The generosity of donors has been incredible so I've increased my fundraising goal to $5,000. If you know of others that would like to help this important cause please send them my way or share the link to the donation page. Thanks for your support!

Starting to ramp up the mileage a little. Had a great 46 mile ride today the Banks-Vernonia Trail with fellow Ride for a Child riders, Dick Hartung, Paul Brandes and Tim Fleskes. So much more fun riding with friends.
