Support Our Step Up for Down syndrome Team!

Meet Staci.  She is a vibrant 19-year-old who just finished her first year of transition services.  She was in unified poms at Columbine, a competitive dancer, and plays baseball. She loves to sing and act on stage, swim, and has copiloted a small airplane.  This past year, she performed with the Magic Moments theater company, competed with her dance team, and served in our church's children's ministry. She also has Down syndrome, and that’s why we need your help.

We would like to invite you to join the Staci's Stinkers team and participate in the 29th annual Step Up for Down Syndrome walk on September 28.  Our goal this year is $10,000.  Last year, we raised almost $8,000, and had over 40 walkers on the team.

The walk benefits a great cause, and celebrates our loved ones with Down syndrome, like Staci!  Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association (RMDSA) needs our help to promote acceptance of all people with Down syndrome and raise much needed funds for their vital programs.

When a family first receives the diagnosis of Down syndrome, RMDSA is there to provide support, resources, encouragement, and hope. Help us give back to an organization that helped us through a challenging time and continues to provide valuable resources for our loved one with Down syndrome.

If you want to join us for the event, early registration is $25/adult, $10/kid (12 and under).  Early registration ends August 22.

Click on "Register to walk" or "Donate" to support Staci's Stinkers and RMDSA. Get all the details about the walk here.

See more of Staci on our YouTube channel or send me a friend request on Facebook and keep up with her in real time.
