Team participating in Playing for Pride 2025

Takes place Mar 1 - Aug 1, 2025

Welcome To the General Supporter Team Page!

In 2017, professional soccer player Austin da Luz saw the LGBTQI+ community in his state come under attack, and started Playing for Pride as a way for professional soccer players to show their support for LGBTQI+ inclusion in and through sport. It's since grown and evolved, but Austin demonstrated that when one person takes action, an outsized impact can be made. Now, individuals from around the world are joining the Playing for Pride roster, and we're so proud and thankful to be in this work alongside you. We're building the world's largest team of allies and want you to be a part of it! Join this team to add your name, or donate to one of the individuals on the roster's pages to show your support.

Just wanted to add a few photos of our amazing ride in Bordeaux. We started each day around 9am and rode about 3 hours most days with stops at wineries and chateaux and for long french lunches. Luckily we burned a lot of calories! Also, hopefully it will lead to raising money for an organization dear to my heart! I am posting a photo of a great picnic we had in the middle of a riding day! :)

I am catching up on posting on my rides.. but I rode 72 warming up for my trip to Frace to bike 6 days in Bordeaux.

I finished my biking in Bordeaux YESTERDAY and logged 158 with two short 16 mile days and 4 days that ranged in the 25-40 mile range! IT was AMAZING

In preparation for riding 150 miles with a group in Bordeaux France, I warmed up in New Jersey and Michigan in March and April with 5 rides totaling 72 miles on warmish 60 degree days.
