Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I support Athlete Ally because I believe that every individual should be able to feel safe and accepted, especially when they engage in sport.

I think, specifically, about the children in my life. We don't know yet who they will blossom into. We don't know what hobbies and interests will capture their hearts and minds yet. Don't they deserve a world where they are safe, accepted and loved in any space they want to occupy?

I think so.

This year, I'm pledging to walk 400 miles this summer to raise money for Athlete Ally. Donate here, or join me!

It was hard to hit the miles this week due to multiple travel days. Being in Chicago got us back on track!

We broke 200 miles!!

With about six weeks left, I need to walk around 31 miles per week to reach my goal of 400 miles by the end of August.

Half-way through the summer, it’s been healing to see the response I’ve been getting to this cause.

Thank you all for your support!

It was a busy week this week!

Right now, it’s hard to keep going. It doesn’t feel like there is room for progress.

There are, however, pockets of hope. That’s what we need to hold on to. It helps us remember that even small actions can have a bigger ripple effect. 🙂

It was a good week for walking, weird week in this country.

People keep telling me that it’s crazy to walk this much, but it’s a crazy time. We need to do crazy things to advocate for our friends and neighbors.

It’s just that simple to me!

We hit 30 miles this week!

There’s so much going on this week, it’s hard to stay hopeful.

Hope is more powerful than fear. We’ve got to try, no matter what, to stay hopeful.
